“Color Blind”
The Client
Well-established gas producer and long-term client, multiple jobs in progress.
The Situation
The client inadvertently specified the wrong paint color in their job specifications. On delivery, the client realized the color error but had nothing left in the budget to resolve this problem and the due date was fast approaching.
The Challenge
The project couldn’t be successfully delivered without a change in the color scheme and this had to be done quickly to satisfy the delivery schedule and the budget.
The ISTI Response
The ISTI team moved into action. Quickly assessing the situation, the managers at ISTI concluded that the only course of action was to fix it. Arranging for the equipment to be returned to the ISTI paint facilities, the crew worked tirelessly to repaint the equipment the correct color without compromising the quality standards applied to every job. The job was turned around in six days and delivered to the client on time and on schedule. ISTI absorbed the cost for the repaint, including materials, to help our client meet their goals.
The Conclusion
The ISTI team moved quickly and authoritatively to do the right thing for the customer. The client was able to successfully deliver as promised.
“Out in the Cold”
The Client
Long-term client needed help fast with a large project.
The Situation
Unfortunately for ISTI, the client awarded a job to an ISTI competitor. Following the job award, the client and contractor dissolved their relationship over issues regarding the terms of the contract. The client retained the requirement for the completion of the project.
The Challenge
The client needed help to deliver the project on time and on budget. The client no longer had a bid partner engaged to complete the necessary work.
The ISTI Response
The ISTI team reviewed the project and the workload in the ISTI facilities and took on the work for the client. Using the skilled crew of fabrication, assembly, paint and field technicians, ISTI delivered the project for the client on time and on budget.
The Conclusion
Despite not originally receiving the job award, ISTI worked diligently to resolve issues to the client’s satisfaction. Thanks to the hard work of the ISTI team of managers and workers, the client was able to meet their goals with a successful product delivery.
